@TonyStark after this famous photo was taken they answered the phone of one of the victims and told his wife her husband was dead and then they marched through the streets one of them holding up a heart in the air.
This incident is what the red hands stuff refers to.
Gross shit happens in conflicts. Choosing to use those as symbols is fucking weird. Choosing to use those symbols to deface memorials to the dead on another continent is full cycle back to gross.
