Some countries and languages still use the term "philo-Semite" (meant as an opposite to "anti-Semite") to refer to Gentiles who want to stand up to anti-Jewish prejudice and who take an interest in culture.

I've been hired to translate an article into English that uses this term a lot and advises Gentiles how to be "philo-Semites" and oppose the haters.

Fellow Yidn: Should I retain the word "philo-Semites" in English, or advise the author to reword for English audiences?
